We are now a multi-million Rand a year operation, employing over 80 consultants plus support staff. We are internationally recognised, with established products and services globally. We view our candidates as our clients’, and we make it our business to get to know them and to understand their career history and future career goals. We present candidates with detailed information on relevant opportunities that are suited to them and help them prepare for interviews should they be invited to attend one.
Once a candidate has been presented to a client for a specific role, we do everything in our power to move the process along and we endeavour to keep the candidate updated every step of the way, whether the outcome is successful or not.
We have a very good understanding of the current industry salary bands and apply this knowledge when discussing rate or salary expectations with our candidates. Once an offer is on the table, we negotiate an acceptable remuneration package on our candidates’ behalf.
JMR Software consultants are attended to with ongoing management from a dedicated account manager who engages regularly with clients and consultants onsite. We gather and relay feedback to clients as well as consultants, to provide sensitive management toward employee satisfaction and successful service delivery. We believe that our services are designed to benefit and incentivise consultants to partner with us, which ensures that we attract the most talented IT and business talent.
In addition to our track record, we work hard at maintaining our BEE level status, which makes us a preferred supplier to large corporate and government clients, which results in a bigger spectrum of job opportunities for the candidates who choose to partner with us.
For the past 21 years we have invited all staff to join us on an team building trip on every third anniversary with JMR. To keep things interesting and away from the office we have hosted this at different exciting international venues. Although this trip is not guaranteed and dependant on company performance, we have not missed a year since our first trip in 1998, except for 2020 when Covid-19 made travelling impossible.
